Working Momma / Pro Compression

I got a JOB!

So I got a full time job at one of our friends shop.  Press operating/stamping type job, Nothing at all like my previous customer service jobs or banking!  Standing on my feet all day with loud machines, gloves, ear plugs and safety glasses! Whoa I'm a hard working woman who comes home looking Dirty!

ooohhh, if the guys knew that I was taking a typical teen girl pic of myself in the bathroom id be getting so much crap from them! (I don't think any of them even know I have a blog, shhhhhh!)

I finally have a use for all those race t-shirts I have (that really are not so attractive to wear out anywhere)

Down side?

OK, its been 4 years now since I had a job, so that mean 4 year of pampered feet without long hours on them (besides running which never took 9 hours) which basically my feet KILL this week!

I'm not Blonde but sure had a blonde moment..HELLO,
 Pro Compression!

Why I went this whole week with my feet killing and never thought to wear my Pro Compression sock, beats me! Can't wait until next week to start wearing them!

The benefit of wearing compression socks over 26.2 miles, 18 holes or 8 hours at work is the delay of muscular breakdown that comes from spending hours on your feet. PRO Compression works against gravity by helping your vascular system increase blood flow which relieves discomfort and assists in recovery. The minute you put them on, you’ll understand why PRO Compression socks are the World’s Best Athletic Performance Socks!

If you work long hours you should try some compression socks, and nothing is better than getting a deal while your at it!!

Another Down side of killing feet....I haven't been able to run this week :( or do my squat challenge :(

Although this is prolly great for me and keeping active on my feet and walking around the shop..not like being lazy around the house I'm sure I'm burning calories, but I can't wait to just be used to this whole standing of feet thing and get back to a working/Running mom!

Give ya a sneak peak of a part,

Does this not look like a martini glass?! LOL

lil loves first Mile & Spaghetti squash

This whole Boston thing just hit right home and although I wasn't there or knew anyone personally there, Running at a race is a place I felt safe, and never thought I'd have to worry at.  Its like we cant even do anything we enjoy now a days and always have to be fearful of our lives :( Absolutely sad.

,...On a happy note My lil love and I went out to the trails a couple days ago when we finally got a break in this crazy Michigan weather, and ran a mile! That would be her first EVER mile she did without a stroller and on her own two feet the whole time lol!

GO AUSTYN! She was giggling the whole time from knowing she's beating me hehehehe! So to any crazy people thinking I make my three year old run, She wants to run, and LOVED IT! :)
But she really wanted to win a medal like her mommy, I can't wait until she runs her first race!

I also had my first experience with a spaghetti squash this week! spaghetti squash can be used in place of noodles and is a bit more crispy,   Make sure you season well with pepper or whatever else you may like!

Today I added shrimp, pepper and Cayenne to some left over squash noodles and a little bit of this, pretty good!

Also if you have MyFitnessPal.com I got a new one to keep with my RunningMILF theme, so that would be it, find/add me! runningMILF!

latest food addictions

well well... I've been craving veggie sushi rolls for  I couldn't tell you how long lol so I had to remake it somewhat with what I had, basically I think I like rice and avocado together? Odd yes! So a bit of rice with avocado, carrots, and cucumber on top...yummmmm.

Than that went to being addicted to Shrimp.  I've been making all kinds of shrimp over everything and anything I have.

Yup addicted! These are all so very easy to make, and can add anything you like and try different kinds, YUM!

Which also lead to a juicing addiction,

My mom gave me a juicer from seriously 1970, but hey gave it a shot and OH MY, yummy yummy fresh juice. It uses a lot of  veggies to make a little juice but oh its worth it.

My favorite is Cucumber, Celery, strawberry, carrot juice together, YUM!

I even tried Kale in it, but I don't think it juices any out of it and just clogs the machine lol!

Hope you all had a great Easter!

Easter!

Easter is coming up and since most my friends don't have great big plans for Easter compared to other holidays I decided to plan a Easter party this Sunday for all the kids!

This weekend is going to be cold so I had to clean out my not finished super dusty basement and be prepared to do some easy toddler games inside the basement. I guess that's better than freezing outside!

Hungry hungry bunny! ha ha I made this Hungry Hungry Bunny game! Drew a big bunny with a huge mouth, wset him onto a big chalk board thingy and glued together Carrot shaped eggs to toss into the mouth!

Punch a prize!!

Here is the FIELD OF PRIZES game, Just like the Punch a prize on price is right! I made this so that during egg hunting each kid needs to find a golden egg, which will have a number in it and they punch that number to get out the prizes! I asked that everyone coming brought some kind of candy, toy, stickers or whatever to bring for each kid and that's what will be inside each hole!

Name tags, bags, and egg hunt directions are all ready!! I'm a kid again and excited!Name tags, and Easter bags to color! Than collect Eggs!

Were having a wagon ride threw trails we have in our back yard, Were calling it "Bunny Trails" and were making a few stops where the kids will get off the wagon and collect their eggs!

and cant forget the homemade treasure box I made, full of prizes to win! Each game were playing the kids will win tokens which will let them get a prize out of the Treasure Box! ooooo fun fun! Treasure box is made out of my hubbys Boot box, gold wrapping paper and good ol duct tape!

and also have the bounce house downstairs to blow up! Perfect!

I am beyond excited for this party! I pretty much had everything at home to make each game, I did a lot of DIY-ing and spent little $$$ which is always great and nothing is better than seeing the kids have some fun!

Few Crafts we did! Thank you pinterest!
